Seymour Finkel, the founder of Certified Management
Company entered the real estate business in 1955.
His son, Paul Finkel, joined the firm in 1985.
Over the last 50+ years they have successfully
worked on several projects throughout southeast
Michigan. These projects, which include the full
spectrum of real estate, from a single custom
home, to complete subdivisions; and from a small
tenant retrofit to the development of a 250,000
square foot mid rise office complex, have one
thing in common - the unparalleled professionalism
and attention to detail that is a prerequisite
for their successful completion. These are the

we are a full service commercial real estate firm,
providing leasing, management and general contracting
all under one roof. Our goal is to service our
clients - both owners and tenants, in a professional,
efficient and cost competitive manner. Property
owners can look to Certified Management Company
to provide all needed services out of our Novi
office, including managing a project from site
selection through tenant or owner occupancy, and
then once completed we can provide ongoing property
management, brokerage, and tenant build-out services.
Tenants can count on us to provide them a number
of options in your search for a new facility.
We will conduct your search for a new facility,
not only within our represented properties, but
throughout the entire marketplace too. We subscribe
to Co-Star and LoopNet, therefore we have full
access to all available properties in the market.
Additionally, if your best solution is a build-to-suit,
we provide full site selection and construction
services, and we will own the building as a sale
lease back if you desire.
OUR SERVICES
BROKERAGE:
We represent both owners and tenants. We provide
standard brokerage services to owners of property.
We will provide our standard site signage to your
property and include your property in Co-Star
and LoopNet, and on this web site. We also maintain
a complete mailing list of all other brokers in
town and we will make sure they are aware of your
property. For tenants we will work with you as
an exclusive tenant representative, providing
you complete search and analysis services. We
will focus on your needs, and promise to show
you all properties that match your site search
criteria.
MORTGAGE BANKING:
We can help you arrange financing for your property, from a small SBA loan to a large portfolio loan. Headed by Lawrence D. Hadley, our Mortgage Banking Department maintains relationships with a large consortium of lenders, from small community banks, to large national banks; from small regional life companies to major regional and national life companies; and from private equity lenders to large Wall Street conduit lenders. We can provide you multiple loan quotes from various sources so you can take advantage of the best mortgage financing and refinancing available in the market place. Hadley has spent 30 years in corporate and mortgage banking, including nearly 20 years as the owner of Hadley and Associates, Mortgage Bankers and prior to that as an executive with Comerica Mortgage Corporation. He previously taught commercial real estate for seven years in the BBA program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and currently teaches corporate finance at Walsh College in Novi.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:
We can manage your properties, from a single
building to an entire portfolio. We use the industry
leading Property Boulevard software,
which allows us to manage a multiple of properties
and portfolios, for a multiple of owners. We will
provide you with complete reporting each month.
We also maintain a full service maintenance department
- fully automated with Property Boulevard, so all your property
information is located within one record. Call

CONSTRUCTION:
We can tailor a construction program to your
wants and desires. You decide how involved you
want to be in your project and then we will work
together to design the program that fits you best.
As an example, if you want to be active in your
project, we can serve as your project manager
- you hire us for a fixed fee and we provide all
services needed to complete your project. You
will be involved with all aspects of the project,
including reviewing bids, hiring trades, and paying
the invoices. On the opposite side of the spectrum,
if you want little or no involvement, we can serve
as your general contractor. We will bid your project
from the approved plans and specifications, and
provide you with a fixed "turnkey" price,
subject to changes and unforeseen conditions.
After the contract is signed your job is over.
We will provide all services and complete your
project. We will contact you upon completion when
it is time to turn the keys over to you. There
are many alternatives available for structuring
your project. Call us to discuss the option that
is best for you.
BUILD TO SUIT:
We are happy to provide build to suit services
to any firm looking to meet specific needs. A
build to suit can be structured as a sale leaseback
if their firm does not want to get into the business
of real estate. We have arranged several real
estate investments, and can structure a sale lease
back to meet your needs, while making it attractive
to an investment group that will serve as your
landlord. Of course we are happy to complete your
build to suit on a sale basis also.
